We’re completely obsessed with homewares stores that inspire us with their unique offerings of furniture and interesting home décor items. Stores with a finely curated eye for the beautiful, one-off, sophisticated and unexpected, which you can see reflected perfectly in the pieces they choose. We love to see statement furniture, lamps, vases and vessels, vintage or new, mirrors big and small and we can never have enough home decor and design books.
We love displays of ethically produced rugs, hand-thrown pottery, exquisite objet d’arts, one-off pieces crafted from solid timber and designed to last a lifetime. That’s our happy place, whether we’re shopping big or small, spending too much (and we’ve all been there) or just a few dollars. It’s almost meditative for us, always inspirational, and helps us create our own story and reflects who we are and what we then want to share with our guests at any one of the Linnaeus Collection properties.
Sometimes it’s the big pieces that impact an interior space the most, and sometimes it's the little details that make a space feel uniquely yours. You’ll find them all in some of our favourite homewares stores in Berry. From the owners: “We wanted to create a beautiful place where we and others could come and get lost in time, to enjoy a one-of-a-kind and compelling shopping experience, to be enticed by the aroma, listen to soft music from places in our memory and admire furniture and décor from faraway places made by creative minds, artists and craftsmen. Enjoy the “slow shopping experience; wander through, inhale enjoy….” So whether your style is Modern Farmhouse, Rustic, Hamptons, Vintage or entirely your own, plan to lose yourself in Few and Far for an hour or two. You’ll find everything you want from a hand-thrown coffee mug, to an elaborate, hand-carved one-off sideboard from afar.
